Before we began this tourist guide we had to take a big decision. Who are we making this guide for?
So we decided to make two guides; the years 1,2 and 3 made a guide for the younger childre in Co Durham, Hungary and Portugal, whilst years 4,5 and 6 together made one for Italy, Glouchester and Poland.

Every class was given different tasks. Most of the classes had site-seeing exercises around Valletta, in order to find information about places of interest, important buildings and shopping spots. We learned a lot about these places, evern though maybe we had visited them before.

One class found information about the school logo, its colours and design , and its meaning. We also looked up information about festivals celebrated during the first term, including the feast of St.Albert the Great. A lot of photos were taken. Students and teachers were equipped with cameras and shot every interesting spot at school and in Valletta. We collected information from magazines, postcards, information about the different landmarks.

Ms. Connie put all the information colleted by the years 1,2 and 3 together into one guide, and then photocopied it in colour. Mr. Yasmin did the same with the information form the years 4,5 and 6.

We really enjoyed making this guide because we exchanged information and ideas. We are very satisfied with it, as we think it is quite colourful and interesting to see and read.
