Myths & Legends From Malta!
This is our third and last year in the project. This year is all about 'Myths and Legends'. We've already done different task about this theme. All of us first got a background of different local myths and legends.
Il-Leggenda ta' Ghar Hasan Il-Leggenda tal-Madonna ta' l-Isperanza We used different sources; books and the internet. But our favourite was listening to storytellers. In fact, the school invited Mr. Guido Lanfranco, a local authority on Maltese folklore, to share some legends with us. A big thank you for your time and patience, Mr. Lanfranco! Listening to Guido Lanfranco Ms.Rose relating a Legend to year 3 The next task: Every class chose a particular local legend and researched it thoroughly. Some wrote about it; some made puppets of the characters, other acted their chosen legend, costumes and all. Others thought of activites about their legend. What fun it was!

Playing Bingo with a difference Working hard is fun!! Straight from Legend Land Every class contributed a number of pages showing the work done. Copies were made and will be exchanged with all the partner schools.

The Year 6 boys, together with their teacher Mr. Etienne, went to a local radio station and recorded six lengends, both in English and Maltese. These were then put on CDs, and copies made. These too will be exchanged with others from partner countries.
