Greenland Community Infants, Co. Durham

This is the new entrance to our school. The original school was built in 1908 and is an old building with a new extension built in 2004.  It may be old on the outside but inside it is bright colourful and has a great atmosphere and we love it.
We have no trees or grass to play on. We only have a tarmac yard which we share with our junior school.
Our head is called Mr Moore. We have approximately 130 children and we have five classes. Class 1 belongs to Mrs Peel, Class 2 to Mrs Gill, class 3 to Miss Stansfield, class 4 to Mrs Wilson and class 5 to Mrs Bainbridge who is our deputy head.
We do all sorts of activities apart from our work on the national curriculum.  We hace afterschool clubs, trips to places of interest. We even go away for the weekend in year 2 with the teachers.
We are really looking forward to this new comenius project, and all the activites we will be doing.
