Escola Basica Das Cortes Portugal

This is our school. It is situated in Cortes - a little village near Leiria, Portugal.  The school is very old. It was built over 70 years ago. It is a small school - there are only 2 classrooms, but it must do for our pupils.  This year we have 31 children in four classes. Teacher Teresa teaches 14 children (class 1 and 2). Teacher Maria teaches 17 children (class 3 and 4) and teacher Ju' helps us and substitutes teacher Teresa or teacher Maria whenever they cannot come to school.

  And in this room the children wait for their parents after the lessons. As soon as they finish doing their homework they can do may interesting things here - play board games, watch videos or paint. However, on hot, sunny days they prefer to spend their time outdoor...
