15 Mar 2003 - SAMPLE - New classroom computers boost ICT cross curriculum

Following 2 years of hard work and fundraising, the PTFA was delighted to announce that it had successfully raised sufficient funds to purchase 10 new class room computers for the school.

The computers - fast 2Ghz Celeron machines running Windows XP, will be integrated onto the existing school network across the next month.

2 new machines will be installed in each of the 5 class rooms, and will supplement our ICT suite, facilitating the further integration of ICT into the wider curriculum.
The PTFA is always on the look out for helpers, volunteers and fundraising ideas.
Every contribution helps, so please get in touch with us via the school office if you can lend a hand.

Our next fundraising target is £5000.00 to renew the aging play area equipment in the Junior School playgrounds.
